Now Scheduling Utah Portrait Sessions!!

In an effort to launch my business in Utah, I'm running a special for the Holiday season.  I'll be doing sessions from November 25th through Christmas on this special. We'll have our session, and by that night you'll have the images on disc, with printing rights, to use as you like.  I can design a digital photo card for you (that you can email or print), You can have prints made to slip into your Christmas letter, or to give as a gift to family and friends. 30 minutes, individual portrait session, about 15 pictures, for $25! 1 hour, up to 5 subjects, for $50, for at least 30 pictures! including individual portraits, or any combination you wish. I’m feeling frustrated.

With my photography.  I took a wedding in early June, worked my heart out on it and don't even really feel like I did that well on it.  Other than that, and snapping my family, I haven't done any real photography since little more than halfway through my pregnancy with Joey.  I don't know what's wrong with me.  And of course my wanderings keep bumping me into wonderful inspiring photographers, and I feel so little and insignificant. Of course I've spent some time getting used to my new camera and had a few flubs there at the beginning, and that shot my confidence, so I need to just get out there again. I need a few pick me-up sessions, anyone willing to have pity on me?

Why?

OK, there are a million reason that my hubby's the best (for me, sorry girls!), he gets up in the night to go get the baby, or to switch places with me when I still want Joey safe between us but I need to switch nursing to the other side, he pics me up when I get too tired to move anymore, and helps me keep on going. This weekend he did something huge or me.  He's been asking for a little bit now what I want my next camera to be, what I want specifically and so on, I had a B&H wish list I'd made a while back that I forwarded to him.  Well without my knowing HE BOUGHT IT FOR ME! Mom’s been doing her job.

Michael's just full of those one liners lately...  Since I shot a wedding on Sunday, I spent most of yesterday working on the photos.  He's grown accustom to some computer time each day, but there wasn't any until I got burned out in the afternoon.  So when Kevin came home, the boys were on the computer, Joey was taking his afternoon nap, and I was sorta asleep on the couch.  Kevin asked Michael what they did today and he said, "Mom's been doing her job." I explained to Michael earlier today that since I just shot a wedding I'd be busy working on photos for a little bit, because that's my job, and that I'd need his help while I worked to stay out of trouble and help Aiden out. …

Wedding Today

I photographed a wedding today. It was beautiful, and fun, Kevin and the boys did great by my account. Joey even took a bottle. The bride and groom just decided to get married a few days ago so it was rather thrown together, but it didn't feel like it, it was intimate, just a dozen people, myself and the Judge, oh and the limo driver. I rode a limo today!!! That was a first too! The wedding was in her home, and then we went to dinner at a local restaurant. It really felt good, and really turned out nicely.
