We’re Moving!

Dreams, Family, Family Fun, Kevin, Life in Texas, Move to Utah
And this isn't just a move down the block! Kevin has a job offer in Sandy Utah, he's taking it, which means we're moving, and that our kids will get to grow up knowing their grandparents and other extended family!!  We're beyond thrilled. Edited to answer a few Questions people are having~ He'll roughly be doing the job that he was doing before we moved to Houston (new company). He's got 12-18 months of school left before his Bachelors (depending on what he takes on each semester), and we're hoping he'll get a promotion once he graduates.  It's nearly impossible to be in his current position without a degree, so we've been very blessed, but we've prayed about it and it's definitely time for a change. Amanda, that was one…

Picture Tag

Aiden, Family Fun, Games, Pictures
For this tag you are supposed to upload the 4th picture in the 4th file. So, here it is! This is Aiden in our rental van 3 weeks ago, all three boys zonked out by the time we got home from a drive to go see the Temple Sunday night.  It was nice to have that much room, too bad it'll be a while before we get to get our own. Tag to anyone who needs a fresh blog. :)

Photo Update!

Aiden, Baby Joey, Family, Family Fun, Humor, Me, Memories, Pictures, Vacation
Wow, a week and a half with no blogging, haha. OK, I've FINALLY got all my images for the last month on my computer and can start processing!!!!  Whooo hooo!!!  It's been a crazy few weeks... So first I've got my two paid sessions to process packaged and delivered, then I can start working on my freebie photo shoots (family portraits, Dallin's Sr. Portraits, a couple from Sam's Endowment night, and the Gilberts), and a few tries for Michael's First grade portrait, and Aiden's 4 year old portrait.  Some other highlights, Nate returning, Sunrise over Mt. Timpanogos, Zoo trips, seeing David and Amanda, hmm what else?  I guess it's a surprise, LOL! A few quick previews before I dive off the net and into these projects~ Do you think she…

Back to Normal

Me
Things are getting back to normal.  Well sorta...  We had a minivan over the weekend, a 2008 Toyota Sienna.  We took the car in for warranty work, and while we were car-less they offered us a car, since they didn't have a comparable vehicle with enough seats, we ended up with a minivan that, oddly enough, had only 23 miles on it.  We logged more than 200...  LOL!  We had a great time with that.  We're really hoping to get a van when we can now. Yesterday as I went to pick up Michael, Aiden was whining for a lemon drop since I'd left them in the cup holder.  I kept hearing "sour lemon head DROP!"  "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!"  "Lemonade!"  "Sour Lemonade!?"  Of course I didn't cave, I don't give candy to…

Highlights of our Utah Trip

Me
Joey~ He cut his first tooth that he's been trying to cut for about 2 1/2 months, on the flight up... Was separated from me for the longest time yet. Tried formula, and wanted nothing of it. Tried a lot more table food, and didn't do too great, after a few days up there, I had to limit his diet to only my milk and food marketed as baby food, he soon did much better. Really cruising and trying to walk. He got his first ear infection on the flight home. Aiden~ Drove everyone crazy.  He's a hard kid anyway, but take away his normal boundaries, schedule, and have everyone trying to discipline him with different methods, and he's a holly terror. Knocked his head HARD on brick during family…

Visiting Graves

Grief and Loss
I had a chance to visit 4 graves that I hadn't been to before a couple nights ago.   My Uncle Lorin's grave, who died on my 25th birthday, his two children's graves who'd died at birth due to the same kidney problems that took his life, I'd been to their graves before, but they'd been moved when Lorin died to all be together.  His oldest son announced their first baby about the same time he passed, and their baby is just a couple weeks younger than Joey, so he missed holding his first grandchild by just a few months.  His sweet wife Aunt Analee, seems to be doing pretty well, I love her and wish her the best. I also visited Paula's grave for the first time.  It was…
