re-cap of the last two months Part IV

We went to visit Grandma Steele at work, and went to see the Lights and reindeer at Thanksgiving point.

We frantically searched high and low for the new bank account folder of private financial information, including our new ATM card, new Pin #, and our credit reports including both of our SSN#’s.  To no avail.  THIS REALLY STINKS.  I can’t even begin to express how frustrating that’s been…  Things have been worked out now, but things were sure tense there for a bit.

We rang in the new year fast asleep.  I was sick and saw no point in wasting what little energy I had on trying to stay awake…  Though we did have Dinner at he Steele’s.

I then spent the next 4 days sick, it turns out my brother has strep, so…  My parents and two youngest brothers went to Colorado on the first and were going to come home Saturday, it snowed badly friday night and closed the interstate between there and here unless you had snow chains. They decided to wait it out and come home Sunday, They headed out at around 9 Sunday morning, and when they were just an hour away from home they got caught behind an accident that closed Spanish Fork Canyon.  http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=5230207  I think all involved in that accident are now OK, but it delayed then for 2 1/2 hours in almost Zero Degree temperatures.  They got home OK and healthy, so that’s all we really ask for, but it was kinda traumatic at home to know that they should be home, try calling over and over, get no reply.  Finally we went looking online and found that there’d been a bad accident.  Your stomach sinks when you find out these things…  It was such a relief to know they weren’t directly involved, we hope everyone is all OK that was in the accident.

OH and, I have a nice new bouncing, bald, husband!  LOL!  Yes ladies, he went bald AGAIN.  In JANUARY.  Funny guy.

Aiden is almost potty trained now, he’s working on it, but forgets WAY to often to call it a full success quite yet…  I guess that I’m just going to have to be patient with my kids in that regards…  He’s now gone through three potty charts.  We plan to celebrate with a big family party at Chucky Cheese when he’s not had any preventable accidents for a week.  Once we make it anyone’s welcome to come along, but you’ll have to pay your own way, that place is pricey!  LOL!  I’d appreciate any encouragement that  you can offer him if you see him.

I have two weddings coming up, so I plan to remain WAY busy.  So fun!  Hope everyone’s well and, good, and wondering if anyone’s still even checking in…  Sorry about the serious slacking!
