Why is it that when…

You think everything is blissful, and everything is going great, and that you get all googley eyed, reality hits, and everything isn’t all rose colored?

Today has not really been a pretty day. Nothing terrible, just a bunch of cranky people stuck at home.

Here’s some pictures just to brighten my night. Joey has become a natural model, he’s already smiling for the camera. I guess there’s something happy about a giant eye (the lens from his perspective) and Mommy getting all giddy with every smile.

  • Jennifer, congrats on your new little Casper too!

It’s sorta red, it depends on the lighting. All three of the boys have done this, They were born with redish brown hair, then it’s gotten lighter and more red with each wash and as it grows, and then at about 18 months when I finally break down and get that first cut it goes blond. Already if you pull it straight you can tell it’s brown at the tips, red in the middle, and blond at the roots. Funny kids! It’s funny cause Kevin and I were both born with very light hair with a hint of red.

I am so excited to come. I do need to give you a call, and talk about some stuff before we come down. I cant wait to hold my baby joey. Just so you know, when i get there you will have probably NO holding time with joey, except maybe to feed him, but thats it. He is all mine. I am kinda baby hungry right now, dont tell sam. i will see you in a few hours

  • You’re going to have to fight the Grandma’s a little for him. That’s OK with me, as long as you let him sleep when he’s tired, and let me put him in his car seat when appropriate. Hehe, I could even teach you how to use the wrap if you like. 🙂
