Today is Michael, Kevin and his dad Mark’s birthday!!! They are 95 accumulative years! I’m sure I’ll post more later about them, but just want to shout out my love to them today!
I have one of the most wonderful father-in-laws you could ask for. Mark is a wonderful example and such a loving caring man. He’s always helpful, always listening, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard him speak to or of anyone in frustration. I’m so glad to have him as a father in law, and glad to have him in my family. I know my husband is a better man because of being raised by such a caring gentle father, as I see echo’s of Mark in Kevin and the way that he cares for the world around him. Happy Birthday Mark!
It was hard work getting Michael here, I had NO CLUE what I was getting into when I signed up for motherhood, but Michael is so special and so sweet! He’s always coming up with good jokes and interesting things to think about. I’m SO very glad to have him in my family and as my child!
Michael I love you! And even though you say you’re sick of me telling you Happy Birthday, I think you love it, and I want you to know that you matter to me. You are turning out to be so smart, and so strong, you’ve been a great strength to me, and have taught me a lot of good things, and I’d like to thank you for that! I can’t wait to see you grow and become a man, a husband, and a father! You’ll be such a great daddy, and we’ll try not to put too much pressure on you to continue the birthday tradition when it comes time for you to become a dad. Love you buddy! Happy Birthday Michael!
And my sweet Kevin, even though things are hard, and you’re struggling with your health I love you a billion, and I wish I could take away your pain. You’re my best friend, my lover, my partner, and my husband rolled all into one! I can’t wait to see what time has to hold for us. Sure we’ve had our hard times, sometimes life really stinks, but that’s not important today. 🙂 I can’t wait to have some special alone time with you and to enjoy walking hand in hand with you on the beach as we explore together! Kevin, I’m sorry I don’t tell you enough or show you my appreciation but I thank you for all you do for me, for us. I know it’s almost beyond what you can do sometimes, but you keep going for us. Thank you! You’re stronger than you think. It’s OK sometimes to let go and relax, just don’t leave it all to me to remember, cause I might not, LOL! You deserve the best! Happy Birthday Love!
