We almost put two offers down the other night, but decided not to at the last minute. The house we changed our minds about just wasn’t right for us, and would have needed some major renovations fairly soon, plus the current owners are gung-hoe on DIY projects, and I was concerned on the stability of some of those given I could see some tale-tale signs that they’d not followed all the proper steps in their projects to ensure good condition long-term.
Still no informative word on offer 1. It’s still our favorite, though the second offer is a stunning house in a great neighborhood, it’s farther from work and not quite the right fit that Kevin and I have always dreamed about. We have no delusions, we don’t expect our dream home yet, but we like #1 better.
Otherwise, Steele family news~ I have a massive cold, and had a miserable night despite the NyQuil, and My Dad got a job! Congrats Dad! As my brothers have informed me it was “the one he really wanted!” so that’s great news. For more specific details talk to him!
good luck Kaylene! We just put our second offer down yesterday around 3pm. The people accepted it but with an addendum at around 7pm. We signed the addendum around 9pm and should be under contract by Monday (still keeping my fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong)……I hope for the best for you and your family though!
