We’re going tomorrow morning at 10, we’ll provide lunch, the plan is painting and yard work! If you want to come PLEASE come! I’m offering a photo session in trade for help.
We finally have water at the house! Yay! We can now wash our hands and the paint brushes! Hehe! We’ve got one room primed, but nothing else done! This is a bigger project than I expected. I had Aiden come along for my last real work trip, and well, that was a bust, I spent ALL my time there undoing his “help” including drizzled paint on the carpet… I really wishes I would have just left the little TV over there… Thankfully Dallin was there with me and finished the project that I went to do in the first place.
So far I’ve vacuumed the entire house, three canisters later it was done. I was surprised because the house was empty and the carpets looked clean, that’s a lot of dust! I also had the carpets professionally cleaned, installed the doorbell, patched the holes in the bathroom wall (someone did some exploration carpentry), and have started prep to paint in Joey’s room. That house is bigger than I remembered! I can’t beleive how long it takes to lock up everything, It’ll be even funner when I have to walk around furniture.
I need to get back to sewing… I’d LOVE any help people can offer! If you don’t want a photo shoot, I’ll trade something else. Maybe painting at your house soon, or something else… Let me know!
BTW, the plan tomorrow is yard work and painting, but I’d appreciate window washing, wall patching (just where nails have been and where corners were scratched when the last people moved out…), and vacuuming.
