First off, and my BEST part of this day, is that Michael’s teacher says he’s doing better in class since the Christmas break!!!! Yay!!! Awesome for him!!!! The bad is that he told his teacher that the baby was born though, um nope, hahaha!
Grammy Rawlings, Aiden, and I went to the zoo today to try to get some walking going. I think it helped, we’ll have to wait and see. My back is certainly screaming at me about it tonight, but it was fun. Grandma is a REALLY good sport for helping with Aiden’s tantrums there.
We got home and I did kick counts, when baby isn’t moving as much as I would like, I am supposed to eat or drink something and lay down counting movements until I’m satisfied that everything is normal. I grabbed a bottle of water and a slice of pineapple. It became clear after just a few minutes that everything was indeed fine, he had probably just been asleep from all the walking. He woke up and my eyes shut, thanks to Grandma I was able to rest until it was time to go get Kevin.
My Mom suggested that Kevin and I go on a date while we still have a chance. We enjoyed a nice dinner out, poured over the photo’s of the day, and Kevin showed me a book of models (his newest hobby is painting game pieces, have I mentioned that yet?), that he’s borrowing from a friend. It was pretty fun to have a couple hours to ourselves.
I’m still cramping like crazy, and it definitely feels like Joe has moved down, so now it’s, still, just a waiting game.
Here are some pictures from our outing.
The Jelly Fish
Aiden telling me he wanted “Out” of his stroller to go play in the tunnels. Sorry bud, not going to happen after running off in the Walmart parking lot earlier today and making me run. It hurt, Grandma caught him.
Mac the Elephant at play.
Our Nice balmy January afternoon. This 70 degrees Fahrenheit was accompanied by a gentle breeze and warm sunshine. Perfect! Sorry to you in the northern parts of the country dealing with the snow and cold.
A gecko on the WRONG side of the glass, at first Mom and I were a little surprised. Lucky thing, he’d have been eaten by the birds on the other side of the glass, haha! A zoo keeper caught him and took him outside to be able to eat the bugs out there.
Aiden enjoying a slightly bumpy ride. 😉
The TANTRUM. Grandma was a real sport getting him out to the car.
