I’m so excited, today is my birthday. No big plans, but I’m excited for this year. I’m 26!
It’s also kinda a sad day, it’s the one year anniversary of my Uncle Lorin’s passing. So last year, being a big milestone birthday, wasn’t great, but I was releived that it happened on my birthday instead of his daughters or another cousin who was a lot closer to him, they both celebrated birthdays in the last few days… I know he wouldn’t want me to be sad. And I wish my Aunt and cousins the best today. He’s up there with their two little ones who’ve gone before.
So, I don’t have any special plans, but I just feel good, and I’m happy to be enjoying another year.

I had visions of strawberries dipped in chocolate, and a cake with ganache. I’m getting lazy (aka relaxed, LOL!) and Kevin’s going to run and buy me a cake and I’ll dip some strawberries after the boys go down. Much less mess that way. 😉 We’re having Chinese from my favorite restaurant for dinner, and we had cheese bread, crab salad, and tapioca for lunch, so I’m definitely getting what I want. I also ordered some minerals make-up a few days ago, so that should be fun when it arrives.
