First off, Kevin has a new post.
I’ve had several people ask recently when we are coming to Utah again. Nothing is scheduled (or paid for) yet, but we plan to be there when my brother Nate returns from his mission to Guatemala in September. That will have to be one of our shorter trips as now we have Michael’s school schedule to consider as well as Kevin’s work. Too bad we can’t come for the whole summer! The humidity and heat are already making their mark on our family. I’ll just say that I now know what it feels like to be sweating bullets. Yuck!
I miss the green grass up there, here the grass is a lot hardier to sustain the heat, but it’s also much rougher and more brown. I miss the mountains, and the trips that you can enjoy when you escape to the mountains for a few hours or more. I miss having the family circle to rely on when needed, and to have fun with, but I’ll severely miss the mild winters here whenever we move up north again.
I don’t know how you stand the heat down there! My niece goes to college in houston so I have heard about the bullet-sweating heat… lol 🙂
Hey Kaylene,
I wanted to thank you for the pretty pink pictures. I really love it. I am trying to decide where to hang them. But they are so nice I have to find somewhere cool.
Thanks again!
