Aiden

I’m sick. I’ve got a lot to do today, so I hope it can get under control so that I can function.

I realized that I don’t write much about Aiden, so here’s a little about him… He likes to touch everything.

This morning he got into the pantry and got out every single box he could reach, it kept him busy as I made a phone call and organized some stuff so I let him do it, he then lined up all of the boxes like lily pads (see where he’s going with this?) and then started marching across them, Ummm, ugh! That was over quick!

He likes treats, a LOT, he regularly points to the treat bowl that I keep over the sink with random sugars inside, begging for some. The sad thing is that he knows that I don’t give candy out to beggars, and I let him knows so. If he’d ask nicely then I’d be happy to get him a couple conversation hearts or a dum-dums every once in a while, but he kinda sabotages that by throwing regular tantrums about it.

He likes Cars, and Little Einstein’s. He always must jump off the bottom two steps, and often jumps off curbs. He loves puddles, and can’t resist a good chance to “get away” and make Mommy run after him. He always has a bruise or two or more, why, cause he’s a rough and tumble little boy who’d rather take a risk than play it safe. He likes to cuddle with Mommy on the couch, but usually only when it’s not very convenient for me… He often brings me blankets if I lay down and then smashes himself between the back of the couch and my back. He loves his bothers and is learning to be gentle with the baby. He likes to show baby Joey new things about the world, especially toys. He loves blocks, especially mega blocks and giant lego’s. He always makes symmetrical designs too, it actually kinda baffles me that he can find so many different ways to symmetrically compose the same ten lego’s never in the same way.

He’s my “monkey” and my “cookie” and I totally adore him.
