OK, I didn’t get tagged, but saw this on Sophia C’s blog and thought it’d be fun.
10 years ago~ I was Hmm, almost 16, uh oh, not a great year… I was dating a boy a bit too seriously, I “sluffed” a lot of class, my family moved from North Logan to Utah Valley, and in the process I got moved a few months early to live with my Uncle. This was the year I was suicidal, and also the year that I made a conscious effort to really be my best me and turned things around for myself with lots of support from loving family and friends. Also the year I met and made friends with Serena, Michelle, Quincy, Paul, JD, “Lobes,” “Doll,” Carl, Mary, Melinda, Danielle, Kim W., Steve, Chelsey, Chris C., Kristi, and a bunch of others, forgive me if I forgot you!!! I still love you!
5 things I would do if I was a billionaire~ I’d do my dues, church wise etc., like Sophia I’d try not to make a big deal of the money, own a nicer “normal people house,” but I would buy a HUGE vacation home for us and our extended family. Somewhere not too far from us, that had enough rooms, or maybe even enough cabins on a property, for everyone to have a bit of privacy. We’d probably move back to Utah so that we could be closer to our families. I’d set up an account to get a new car every other year and as we got new cars we’d give the “old” ones to family and our kids once they’re driving age. I think I’d anonymously sponsor big parties for organizations we’re involved in, huge parties like with a band, and catered food and everything… I’d donate a huge chunk to things like Homes for Humanity since even though we can afford rent etc. we don’t feel like we can afford a house and all that comes with it and can understand how that can be such a discouraging dream. I’d of course set up funds to take care of us when we’re older, take care of the kids as they grow, mission, college and wedding funds, etc… We’d probably have another child since we could afford the help (nanny, cook, and maids) to keep the family functioning during another pregnancy… I believe that’s more than 5, hahaha…
3 bad habits~ I spend way too much time on the computer, I ask my hubby to do too many things I could easily do myself, and I give in and give my kids PBJ’s too much.
5 places I’ve lived~ Just south of Preston, Idaho (Napoleon Dynamite land); Richmond, Utah; North Logan, Utah; Midvale, Utah; and Friendswood, Texas.
5 jobs I’ve had~ I’ve worked at McD’s, a candy factory, Kencraft, as a packer, Fazoli’s (and I’d still take their food almost any night, Mmm bread sticks), Wife 😉 Mother 😀 and a Photographer specializing in Weddings.
Some things you may or may not know about me~ I’m a pretty open book, so anyone having enough interest in me to be reading this knows anything sharable (search “poop” hahaha), so this is a hard one. I LOVE baby spring mix salad with cottage cheese, cran-raisins, gold fish crackers, raw unsalted cashews or almonds, and honey mustard, could eat it every day for lunch. I LOVE Subway sandwiches with banana peppers. Hmm, I’m not all about food, it’s just what people (other than Kevin and the boys) might not know, LOL! I think it’s SO FUN to have an all boys family.
I’ll tag Brittany (West Oregon Brit, but any Brit reading this too 😉 ), Celeste (come on girl, we don’t see a lot from you 😛 ), Lynnette, and Sara (and Sam), and of course anyone else who wants to. 😀
Ok umm not really fair since I just got tagged but I will do it just to make you happy!
Hey, haha, I tagged you yesterday… I just forgot to tell you… If you don’t want to no worries.
