Utah Trip Update

So, in case that didn't make any sense, I had 5 teeth majority worked on here. Two root canals, and a tooth pulled on Wednesday with a bone graft for a future implant. On Thursday I went back for two more root canals, but once they'd cleared the decay, we realized there wasn't enough left the save the teeth. So those two were pulled as well and I got bone grafts there too. So yeah. I'm in less pain now than before, but still plenty of pain. So, on Tuesday we flew in. Hand written at 7 this morning~ At 10:30 we lost power lastnight, it came back on but our cable and internet never came back. At about 11:45 we lost power for the night. It would flicker on for a few seconds, but ultimately continuously lost power. Kevin and I finally made it to bed at about 1, and didn't get to sleep because of the noise for a while longer, well and Joey was busy kicking each of us, but in that noise I couldn't just leave him in the other room... Around 3:30 AM the wind REALLY picked up and Kevin had another coughing fit. He and I both got up to explore what's going on. We managed to accidentally wake the boys, decided to move them into the…

The area that we used to live in, just twenty something miles away was evacuated this morning, but we've been told to "shelter in place," so unless there's some other mandate, we're sticking around. When Allison was here 7 years ago our home was safe (we know the woman who lived here at the time) so that's somewhat comforting. Little Aiden is sick with a head cold. He's not doing to well with that, I don't want to consider cramming him (and the rest of us) in the car for a long evacuation. So gratefully we're hopefully not doing that. We were already well stocked and ready, but I went to the grocery store this morning to pick up just a few more things, a long burning fire log, another…

We're getting family pictures soon, and are wondering what we should put on Joey. Vote on our poll at your right please! And if you have any other suggestions for him, please let us know. either another combination of the outfits we have for him, or if you can find something online for less than $15. Oh, and we'll all be in jeans in various darker blues. Mock Blue Jeans with darker blue wolf shirt (the tiny logo is a howling wolf and a couple pine trees). That's right. I'm getting into Twilight. I'm currently where Bella and Edward have come back from the clearing in the forest. I hope that doesn't give anything away. Though I'm sure I'm the last one, and either you don't and won't care, or you know exactly what I'm talking about... Kevin's driving the Deaf Branch members to church from our ward today, so the rest of us are stuck at home, so I'm working on some more spiritual activities for the boys, and I think we'll do some more structured lessons and crafts than usual. We already plan on making cookies and a few other yummy foods. Sorry Daddy, we'll save you some cookie dough. And WHY am I on West Coast time??? Things have been a little weird around…

These are some pics that Kevin snapped of me. This is how wet I got in about 1 minute in the rain when I went to go move the car to make sure it didn't have the tree fall on it if the storm really picked up. There were not many dry spots on my shirt. It was totally salt water, my eyes stung so badly! Me and my Cookie. He loves rain just like his Mommy. Aiden ran into an open drawer in the kitchen lastnight! I'm so glad it didn't actually get his eye, but I felt so bad. As usual he didn't really care once the initial pain wore off. Another IKEA Saturday.
Daddy Smiling as we're finally out on our way. Mom was super slow getting ready to go, and so we left about 3 hours later than he would have liked. We went to a fun little BBQ place and enjoyed a quiet lunch. We got to IKEA and dropped Michael off at Smalland, and headed on our way enjoying the whole showroom floor at a snails pace. A pretty dish set with lots of colorful creamy Bokeh. A head board I like a lot, thought I think Kevin has had his share of iron beds and our next one will be wooden, or if it's the right fabric, upholstered. We timed it just right to be done with the top floor just as it was time to pick up Michael. …
