What a Weekend

Baby Joey, Family Fun, Michael, To new beginnings
Nothing big going on. I haven't even had a chance to upload the pics from Friday and Saturday, let alone look them over or post some. Friday the little boys and I went to Michael's preschool graduation. It was a rough day by way of Mommies, but I think Michael had a nice time. I'm still planning on posting a new post about that soon. Saturday we went to IKEA to spend out stimulus check, or at least a portion of it. I've had my eye on dinning room benches for some time, and I didn't get the ones I'd wanted (those ones were $250 a piece! Youch!) I got some that will do the job nicely and go in the style direction we like. We'll be tossing our current…

Addresses

To new beginnings
OK, I'm going through my addresses, and I'm noticing that a lot of the people on my list have moved since the last time it was current (December 2005). No, I'm not fixing to mail out anything soon, sorry I flopped on the birth announcements, especially since it was my excuse for skipping out on Christmas Cards, LOL! So if you've moved in that time, and/or would like to be on my future Christmas Lists, PLEASE ;) :D email me your current mailing address! THANKS!!! XOXOXOXO BTW, my email is MommySteeleLife at Gmail dot Com. Thanks!

Depression Stinks

Aiden, Baby Joey, To new beginnings, Venting
In case you haven't been able to tell from my lack of upbeat posts lately I'm struggling a bit lately. I'm just going to copy my post from my private family blog. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Screaming, Crying, and Tired (kids, not just me) It's been a rough week. I don't know why, I'm just tired and down and struggling. There's nothing that's any harder than usual, so I don't know what's up. So please pray for me if you get a chance. Yesterday the bug guys came. They only sprayed the kitchen and main bathroom and said I'd only need to stay out of those areas for two hours, and that I didn't need to leave. I decided to be extra cautious (and safe) and go ahead and leave for the day.…

Blessing Vacation

Aiden, Baby Joey, Church, Family Fun, Kevin and I, Michael, Pictures, To new beginnings
This is going to be really long, I told you I'd make up for missing posting... I'll post a link to a gallery with a lot more pictures later. Here's the details of our trip (or everyone else's trip to us), I'm detailing food cause I asked help from some friends and they helped me with menu ideas. Mom Ryan and Jared flew in late Thursday. They were supposed to come about 9, so I kept the kids up. At about 9 my Mom called said they were lost and to send the boys to bed, I got them ready and had to threaten that I wouldn't let them see grandma if they didn't go to bed that instant, and that if they did that they could come out for…

Chocolate Mix Skittles

Family Fun, To new beginnings
So I decided to try something new.  I would have never tried them before, but I've been given a "your favorite chocolate and music" theme in a gift exchange I'm participating in, and while browsing through the chocolate aisle at Sam's I thought they may be interesting, and if they were gross at least I'd have something funny to laugh about. They're actually pretty good.  Not real creamy melty chocolate, more chewy, like tootsie rolls, or the vanilla tootsie rolls (in the blue wrapper) you can get at Halloween, coated in a normal skittle candy shell.  They have five flavors, vanilla, s'more, chocolate caramel, chocolate pudding, and brownie batter.   I could see them being a real hit if people can just get past the "Chocolate Skittles?!?!?!  That could be nasty!" shock.  No,…

I’m Sad, and What To Do?

To new beginnings
It seems a lot of my blogging buddies have stopped blogging, or are taking a really long break. :(  So here's your challenge, if it's been a little while, go and update us on what you've been up to since the last blog! I keep asking Michael what he wants to do on spring break.  He responses are "Play Wii" "Watch TV" and "Play Computer."  When I say, what else, he rotates through these answers...  I need to get this boy going!!!  So my goals are to do something fun every day while he's home and to minimalise laziness!  That goes for me too! So we're thinking of going to the beach, going to the park, making cookies or other fun foods, and I'm not sure what else, but we've…
