Marissa, my visiting teacher, came over this morning and it was really nice to see her. Pamela moved away this week (Whaaa!!!) I'll miss her so much, but it was fun to see Marissa and her sweet new son (he's even newer than Joey). I worked on my re-designed business cards (BTW getting nowhere with those), and researched Michael's birthday cake and I'm trying to decide if I'm brave enough to do a cake or if it'd be funner to just buy a fun one... Yuck!

Not such a good day yesterday. I had a tooth ache yesterday. It wasn't fun. Kevin's cell phone is broken, the antenna broke off on Saturday, and so it's reception is very, um, picky. So most of the time he can't make calls out, he only receives a handful of his incoming calls, and most phone calls he does get are garbled or one or the other person can't hear, or even better it just hangs up. This has been a blast... Hopefully they find his warranty soon at work and can get it fixed or replaced. Aiden was a little crankier than usual. Enough so that we didn't get out the door into the car to go get Michael till about 10 minutes later than usual. I pulled up…

SOOC~ Straight Out Of Camera. I just thought I'd share some stuff to help my friends take better pictures. Get out your camera's and enjoy. :) 1~ Watch your angle. Where the camera is in relation to the subject makes a big difference. NEVER shoot a woman from below, try to shoot from her eye lever or above. This almost always helps with everyone else as well. This lengthiness out the neck and face, minimizing face fat (or what they may perceive as fat) or minimizes it from view below natural curves, and also does flattering things for eyes if the subject is looking into the camera. 2~ Get on your subject's level. Conference, Girls Night, and The Newest Chef

Conference was great, I'm so glad I was able to watch and listen. I did get my answers. :) I got my girls night lastnight, it turned out to be just my Relief Society President Margarita, me, and our 8 collective kids including a friend one of her kids had over at their house. I had a really great time and so did my kids. We got there and Aiden made himself right at home, minus his clothes, and rummaging through her cupboards... Silly boy, I was so embarrassed, but it worked out. Today Michael helped me make dinner. He actually did just as much as me. Funny Of the Day

On the way home from an errand this morning we picked up some donuts for breakfast. I had Michael carry the food but leave it in the front seat while I drove. Conversation follows~ Michael~ "Can I hold the donuts please?" Mommy~ "No, let's just leave them here, you can carry them inside when we get home." Michael~ (pouty) "Why?" Watching Conference ON TV!

I'm so excited!!!!  I get to watch it on my TV, I've already got it set to record!  I, on a whim tonight, searched the DVR for "General" and sure enough it popped right up!!!  I have a BYU Chanel!  So I don't have to rig my computer, I can just turn on the TV, I can pause and rewind, and watch it 100 times if I want!!!  This is pretty cool!

Conference and Aiden struggles.

It's conference this weekend, and a friend of mine, Kate, mentioned taking a few questions and keeping them in mind as you listen to conference, to look for answers.  So I've been reflecting on that.  I'm challenging anyone who's listening to conference this weekend to bring some questions in your life right now and see if you get a little more out of conference.
