Yuck!

Not such a good day yesterday. I had a tooth ache yesterday. It wasn't fun. Kevin's cell phone is broken, the antenna broke off on Saturday, and so it's reception is very, um, picky. So most of the time he can't make calls out, he only receives a handful of his incoming calls, and most phone calls he does get are garbled or one or the other person can't hear, or even better it just hangs up. This has been a blast... Hopefully they find his warranty soon at work and can get it fixed or replaced. Aiden was a little crankier than usual. Enough so that we didn't get out the door into the car to go get Michael till about 10 minutes later than usual. I pulled up…

Blessing Vacation

This is going to be really long, I told you I'd make up for missing posting... I'll post a link to a gallery with a lot more pictures later. Here's the details of our trip (or everyone else's trip to us), I'm detailing food cause I asked help from some friends and they helped me with menu ideas. Mom Ryan and Jared flew in late Thursday. I could be a horrible Mother in Law

I realized something as I drift off to sleep holding my sweet baby lastnight. He was giggling at me for no apparent reason other than he was fed and changed and happy to be next to me. He was just loving on me, his mother, the most important woman in his life. It's going to be hard someday to let my boys go and let them fancy another girl. I imagine that this is compounded by the fact that we're an all boys family and there's no other women (besides aunts and grandma's who live more than a thousand miles away) to share their fancy with, and that I don't have a daughter that I'd hopefully share the bond that I share with my own mother. We went on vacation!

We went down to the beach and enjoyed a night on the ocean in Surfside Texas. Joey's first vacation! We stayed in a little place called "Cedar Sands Motel" not the nicest place, but not bad for the area and right on the beach. The bathroom was HUGE! We had a kitchenette and a large table with 4 chairs. They even had the Disney Channel. We woke up early (twice, LOL, Michael and Aiden couldn't go back to sleep when Joey woke us up for his 3 AM feeding), and went out and experienced the sunrise. It was breath taking! We Went to IKEA Today

Then I dropped Mike off at Smaland. No sooner had I dropped him off and walked upstairs and just started getting going did they page me back... Ugh! Kevin and I gave each other one of those glances, all parents know those glances, and I headed back to get him irritated that in less than 10 minutes he'd managed to get me paged back. Something is new about me.

I got a hair cut today. Real quick cause Joey's about to get fussy, sorry there are not fabulous pics, I just used the web cam instead of hauling out my camera, begging Kevin to take pics of me, checking the settings to make sure that they won't come out wrong, telling him how to do it "right," pulling the card, uploading the card, thumbing through and fixing up the pics, exporting the pics and changing the format from RAW to jpeg, resizing the pics, saving the resized versions, uploading the pics to the internet and copying and pasting the links, I just used the web cam... Hahaha. Serious pictures are a lot of work. So, deal with my less than wonderful pics...
