Happy birthday Grandpa Moms! 48 wahoo!

It's my Dad's birthday today!!! Yahoo, he was born on leap year so if he'd been born just 5 days later he'd have his 12th birthday on Friday. BTW, my kids differentiate between the sets of grandparents by which parent they are parents to. So my Parents are Grandpa and Grandma Moms, and Kevin's Parents are Grandma and Grandpa Dads. Well if you ask Aiden, they're all Grandpa's, hahaha, he hasn't quite got down the Ma's in Grandma.

Dance, sickness and Joey’s fussy.

I'm feeling a bit better, but it's gone from burning sinuses (think pool water up your nose as a kid, always my sign I'm getting sick), down to my throat, it never moves that fast so I'm hoping that means it'll be history by tomorrow night. We had a rough night with Joey lastnight. He decided not only to be awake, but fussy and unhappy from around 1:30 to almost 4:oo AM. He then crashed until the big boys got up, and Daddy took him out to the living room, put him in his swing and he slept happily for a while. Tonight again he's been less than happy about anyhting but being held a certain way and nursing a lot, he's spitting up a lot so I imagine that…

I'm sick. I've got a lot to do today, so I hope it can get under control so that I can function. I realized that I don't write much about Aiden, so here's a little about him... He likes to touch everything. This morning he got into the pantry and got out every single box he could reach, it kept him busy as I made a phone call and organized some stuff so I let him do it, he then lined up all of the boxes like lily pads (see where he's going with this?) and then started marching across them, Ummm, ugh! Lastnight while I arranged my flowers, Kevin painted some figures and the boys played at the table doing homework and coloring. Joey got fussy so Kevin went to get him. Kevin had him balanced on his lap in a uncomfortable looking way, so I went and got the Snugli for them to use. It was the first time in this carrier for Joey and I think he really liked it. Well other than this photo, hahaha. Maybe he was worried Daddy was going to paint him. And here's the photo's of my flowers arranged. First off, I finally updated my "about us" section (top right) so you can go there to get a bit of history on us. So I guess that makes 7 entries during this three day weekend, LOL! I promise I won't keep going at this rate, nobody would ever keep up. If only I'd enjoyed writing like this in school, oh well, at least it'll do me some good when I'm in college in a few years. Family Saturday

I added a pic back on last Sundays blog of the boys as we headed out the door to church. Click here for the link to that Blog. Today we went to IKEA as a family. We just went for breakfast and to get out as a family. We got breakfast and for some reason it was buy one get one free (I believe Valentines and President's Day weekend), so we got breakfast and drinks for all 4 of us (who eat solids), plus a roll and muffin to share for about $9! Hahaha! Can't beat that very often anymore. Busy Valentines Day

I LOVED having that stroller today. I don't have the correct car seat for Joey to use with it so I've been hesitant to use it, but the back folds down to be a bassinet. It worked awesome and by the time that my doctor came in for my appointment both of my boys were asleep! I love this stroller, so far it's easier to haul both boys and as much gear as I can imagine than any stroller I've ever pushed. I'm now 20 pounds down from my pre-pregnancy weight, and about 23 down from my last pregnancy weigh in. Now if I can just keep this trend going in a good direction, LOL! I weighed myself with and without Joey and he changes the scale 11.2 pounds. So…

Yesterday Aiden noticed the tag on one of Joey's blankets, it's a Gerber brand blanket and has the Gerber baby featured, He exclaimed "It's Joey!" Hahaha, sweet big brother!
