The BIG birthday!

Aiden, Baby Joey, Family Fun, Kevin and I, Michael, Pictures
My little boy is now 6, and my hubby is now 29!!! Yesterday was a VERY busy day. In the morning I couldn't sleep anymore once 6:30 rolled around, I was so excited for my boys. They didn't share my enthusiasm so much, at least not that early. We dropped off the big boys, and the little boys and I went birthday shopping. We got Michael one of those giant balls that he's had his eye on for some time, a track, like a pine wood derby track but for matchbox/hotwheels, and some clothes. We got home to chill for a little while and then went to pick up the cake and take it to Michael's class. That was a blast! It was so fun to be in his class…

Michael’s “Texas Cowboy” Birthday Party

Aiden, Baby Joey, Church, Family Fun, Kevin and I, Michael, Pictures
We had Michael's birthday party today. We only invited the kids from his primary class and their families which turned out to be just right. He insisted on a cowboy theme, so that's what we went with. We ended up having six Mama's, just our Dad, and about sixteen kids including our three. Here's a picture of Aiden before the party, longingly looking at the cake, the funny thing is I have one very similar of Michael doing the same with Aiden's 2nd Birthday cake. We had hot dogs, potato salad, macaroni salad, chips, and baked beans. I planned on cutting up fruit but never got to it. Haha! Then we went outside and took a shot at the cowboy hat pinata. Michael has been talking forever about doing a…

A Big First Today

Aiden, Allergies, Baby Joey
One I wanted to wait about a year for.  Joey had his first solid today, or tasted it anyways...  Aiden gave him a fruit snack when he was crying and I was too slow getting to him...  Joey thought it was nasty!  LOL!  Poor baby!  Joey is 3 1/2 months old, I haven't even started cereal, and won't until he hits 7 months.  I'm delaying solids as long as possible to avoid allergy risks especially considering he and his brothers history.  He's fine, just got a little sticky...

You Know You’re a Mom of all Boys When…

Aiden, Baby Joey, Humor, Michael
You hear your three month old in the back seat pass gas. The three year old starts to giggle. More gas, more giggles, then some poop. The three year old then says "Silly Joey!" This cycle continues on for about two minutes... Then the almost 6 year old gets into the car, he kisses the babies foot, and says, "you smell like poop!" I say, "that's cause he just pooped." Mike says, "No, it's his bottom." Me, thinking we'd already covered this "Are you sure? Maybe it's his ears [that stink]." "No! Mom it's his bum! His ears don't poop!" "Ewwwww!" Only in a home [or car] without any other girls... Somebody save me! Hahaha!

My Lifes Soundtrack

Kevin and I
Or not, LOL! OK, this is the other half of the chocolate and music gift. I didn't send the Chocolate Mix Skittles in case she didn't like them, she is pregnant, so you never know. ;) She got a box of Choxie Truffles instead. These are all songs that mean a lot to me. I mostly put them in chronological order of when they became special to me, some are where they are just cause that's where they fit best in my life. 1. Lullaby~ Billy Joel This song has always been special to me, my Dad used to be a big Billy Joel fan, and when he bought the CD I fell in love with this song. I think it's even better from a parent's perspective. 2. Day-O (Banana…
