We Went to IKEA Today

Then I dropped Mike off at Smaland. No sooner had I dropped him off and walked upstairs and just started getting going did they page me back... Ugh! Potty, new wrap, and I need to drive…

I'm so excited it's Friday! I need a Friday... It's bone chilling and windy here right now, it's almost too much. It's supposed to warm up a little over the weekend, I hope so... Aiden went potty at the store yesterday! That's a first. We had to go, and I asked him in passing if he'd like to go too, when he said "yes," I was surprised but hurried and helped him. He made it! We're so proud of him. He finally got his first undies, yay! Mommy's just not brave enough to let him wear them yet. He's better, still grouchy, but I think that's more from cabin fever than feeling under the weather. In the last few days, as I was trying to get several things done, and…

Aiden is sick.

:( He started slowing down yesterday, about a half hour before I went to get Michael, he passed out with his blankets in his room. I told him as I noticed him trying to huddle in that he'd better not go to sleep because it was almost time to go get Michael. He went to sleep anyways, which usually means mega tantrums when I get him up to go. :( I got Joey ready, then got Aiden changed, his shoes and jacket on, and tucked him back in. I took Joey out to the car, then came back to carry Aiden to the car. He barely woke up and we just brought the blanket with us (BTW, the special blanket, "Blank," got lost a few weeks ago when I accidentally…

Something is new about me.

I got a hair cut today. Real quick cause Joey's about to get fussy, sorry there are not fabulous pics, I just used the web cam instead of hauling out my camera, begging Kevin to take pics of me, checking the settings to make sure that they won't come out wrong, telling him how to do it "right," pulling the card, uploading the card, thumbing through and fixing up the pics, exporting the pics and changing the format from RAW to jpeg, resizing the pics, saving the resized versions, uploading the pics to the internet and copying and pasting the links, I just used the web cam... Hahaha. Serious pictures are a lot of work. So, deal with my less than wonderful pics...

Blessing Prep

I'm SO excited! I just got word that I'll have more family come to the blessing. That makes 7 so far. Yay! I will miss those who can't make it though. So we'll have guests from the 27th through April fools! Yay! I'm so excited I just cant even think of enough fun things to do together! 4 are getting hotel rooms, and so just three people will be staying here, but there will be 4 cars between us all, 3 of them rentals though, wow, that's a lot of cars!  Ahhhh!  I'm so happy!

OK, this is a lot of blogs in a row, but I didn't write any yesterday, so it evens out right? Hahaha! I hope! There's this clip from a cartoon called "Family Guy" floating around the internet that reminds me so much of Michael.... I think most Mom's can relate. You can check it out on the video page under "Michael Talking." His Valentines card last year. Last week I received an email from Michael's teacher telling me that he was doing better and she was seeing some improvement in his behavior! Yay! Here are some pics of Kevin's hobby. He's hand painted all of these and has been quite enjoying getting into it. From Kevin: These are Models from the Games Workshop tabletop game Warhammer:40,000 I am collecting and painting Space Marines and I've built and painted 21 so far and have a bunch more to finish. I started this in December and have been enjoying myself a lot. It takes a lot of concentration, but it is, in many ways so rewarding and relaxing to paint and finish these models. Currently, I'm just painting the models rather than playing the game. Once I have enough, then maybe I'll play, but honestly, I'm doing it more for the painting. Relaxed Sunday

We made it to church yesterday! Yay! Though we were a lot late... That was frustrating. We didn't get the laundry into the dryer until around 7:30 (church starts at 9, we'd washed it the night before but forgot to get it in the dryer, and some of our essentials were in there), and then since it was mostly towels it took extra long to dry and we didn't realize this until we went to get everyone dressed at 8:40... We wait till the last possible moment to get the boys dressed so the chance that they dirty their clothes is as slim as possible. It's a 15 minute drive to church, maybe 20... Oh well.
